I’m sure this isn’t news to most avid internet users, but it’s definitely timely. There is a new web series which combines two of my favorite things: porn stars and RPGs. It’s called “I Hit it With My Axe” and there is a new episode every Wednesday over at The Escapist. It features a few names you might be familiar with: Kimberly Kane, Mandy Morbid, Satine Phoenix and Zak Sabbath.  Sasha Grey has been in the first two episodes as well, but is listed as a guest star, so who knows if she’ll be playing the whole campaign. The party also consists of two unknowns: Connie, a stripper (or as she puts it, “I dance naked!”), and Frankie (my favorite so far) a hairstylist.

The first episode premiered a week ago and was mostly just the girls picking and rolling characters, describing their race and class choices, explaining things to Sasha, the group’s requisite D&D virgin. It pretty much sounds like every new D&D group: a bunch of bickering and an eventual devolution into raping and pillaging. Which is what makes D&D awesome. It shows the true nature of humanity. Deep down, everyone just wants to rape and pillage.

The second episode premiered yesterday and is perhaps best exemplified by Sasha’s, “Wait. You’re the Dungeon Master? What the hell is this about?”  And my only gripe is that “Fuck, a Medusa. Get in the car!” would have been a much better episode title. But that’s just me.
